The Saint Joseph’s University Office of Veterans Services is part of The Erivan K. Haub School of Business – an international AACSB-accredited institution in business and accounting offering programs at the bachelor’s, master’s and executive master’s levels. U.S.News & World Report has ranked the school’s part-time MBA, risk-management and insurance, marketing, management, and finance programs among the top in the nation. The Haub School was recently named one of the nation’s top business schools in the Princeton Review’s “The Best 300 Business Schools,” and the undergraduate program was recently recognized by Bloomberg’s Businessweek. The Office of Veterans Services is committed to honoring those who have served our country by providing opportunities for education and career advancement.  Veterans Services designs and implements customized programs and services for veterans and their families.  Specifically, our Office has three missions:

  • Develop and implement Entrepreneurship Programs for Veterans, with specific emphasis on disabled veterans/li>
  • Support our student-veteran community, including dependents, with a suite of programs and services that ensure full utilization of entitled benefits/li>
  • Build a network of veteran-friendly businesses, mentors and civic organizations that are dedicated to Career Development and Job Placement initiatives
  • The Office of Veterans Services is unique in that it is staffed by two full-time, combat-disabled veterans.  We know what it means to serve, and we are focused on preparing veterans for personal excellence, professional success and engaged citizenship. (www.sju.edu/veterans)

    Our Entrepreneurship Programs are delivered in two distinct formats:

    Syracuse University’s “Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans with Disabilities” (EBV)

    • An entrepreneurial and small business education program founded in 2007 at the Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University (SU), and operated by SU’s Institute for Veterans and Military Families (IVMF)
    • Saint Joseph’s University joins a national consortium of world-class schools that participate in EBV, and will deliver the program through the Erivan K. Haub School of Business (HSB), an internationally AACSB-accredited institution consistently ranked among the top in the nation by U.S. News & World Report

     

    Veterans Entrepreneurial Jumpstart Program (VEJ)

    • Designed for all veterans, VEJ will help them realize their goals with the structure, education and mentorship that will enable success
    • Veterans committed themselves to service, and Saint Joseph’s University is committed to helping veterans become successful business owners, leading the way in the growth of small business and entrepreneurship
